Job Description 101
According to our Amazing Leadership Development Model (LDM), the AIESEC Exchange Standards are 16 services that both AIESEC Sending Entity and Hosting Entity deliver to each EP to ensure their experience abroad is complete and they have the conditions in place to develop their leadership qualities.
One of the Standards that we will go deeper into today is :
Job Description: The AIESEC HE must ensure that the job description executed by the EP corresponds with the job description of the opportunity described on the AIESEC platform. The HE must have clearly stated individual responsibilities and goals to the OP. To set expectations with the EP's supervisor regarding expectations of the exchange job role, unless it is already done by the OP. For both scenarios, the AIESEC HE is responsible for ensuring the EP is aware of the expectations on the first week of Realization, and any job description issue should be assisted by AIESEC.
As well as HE have to ensure that the working hours related to executing the job description are the same as stated on the opportunity on the AIESEC platform and that they are within the ranges described in the program minimum requirements.
In the Alignment Spaces with OP, The AIESEC HE must ensure that the OP provides at least one space, in the form of a group or individual meeting, to align the Job description with personal goals at the beginning of the experience and one space to debrief on the Job description and personal goals at the end of the internship.
In the compensation table we can see that if the job description does not fit the description in more than 50% (fifty) OR ,The OP doesn't provide the basic work conditions or any main benefit offered to the EP that the opportunity job description on the AIESEC platform refers to and the EP did not agree to the changes or abolition.
-In case of SE/EP tried to solve during RE: Full reimbursement of EP expenses.
Reimbursements only based on the receipts provided proving the expenses were incurred.
-In case of HE was only communicated after RE Break: HE not liable
The responsible is OP, but If not provided by the OP, the final responsible is the Hosting Entity.
